As a European having originally played Euro Truck Simulator 2 for a few months before trying this one out I take to say, this game feels very different. I call back that for my first couple deliveries I struggled to tame the monsters that are American trucks: long noses, 18 gears and HUGE trailers. Merely I experience somewhat richer for having managed that. It gives you a feel for America: everything is enormous and very proud of it, whereas European cabovers and cities are more on-the-betoken, silent and quaint. The environments feel similar nada Europe could offer- not that Europe doesn't offer tremendous sights- so equally someone from this part of the world, you will find a lot to larn and gander at. I will always be more fond of a DAF XF than a Kenworth, because it's what I grew up seeing on the streets. But this game has helped me appreciate American trucks to the extent of furthering a passion which has filled a void in my soul. I will always love these powerful beasts.

In short, y'all'll either find it ho-hum and repetitive – every bit day-to-day driving in real life can really be for some – or you'll stop up in YouTube at 02:00am looking for videos on how to back an articulated trailer into a barn without putting a scratch on it.
This is absolutely the all-time simulator around for the latter group of people.

When I starting time picked upwardly ATS's older brother, ETS, I got it heavily discounted while drunk, thinking "Might be fun to ram cars off the route." 5 or so years later, I got my Class A Commercial Drivers Licence because of these games. The first fourth dimension one of my friends saw me playing this, he thought it looked boring as hell. I didn't think he was wrong, but I told him to attempt it for himself. He got his CDL before me.

This is a game that has the potential to inspire people, due to its deceptive, relaxing nature. This may exist simply a game, but it's ramifications can be life changing.
